VEO 235AB is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great travel tripod and worth buying The tripod is better than my expectation and it definitely WORTH THIS PRICE. Compared with the Manfrotto Befree tripod I've owned, this VEO costs only a fraction of the price but it is as stable as the befree and also comes with ball head that is removable, making it easy to use. BTW, the Vanguard customer service is also great, they replied to emails fast and friendly. Hope u would enjoy this tripod, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A small lightweight tripod perfect for travel A great, small and lightweight tripod that fits perfectly with my profession as a Travel Photographer. It folds into a small size that fits everywhere from my backpack to my carry-on, and although it's not made of Carbon Fiber, it still is very light and sturdy. I've used it to shoot in various towns in Spain, as well as in wilder locations such as the Serengeti plains in Tanzania. It supported all the lenses I used, even a heavy 70-200mm zoom lens, without any issues. Highly recommended.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Frustrating The owners manual did not match the product . I had to buy my own tools to get it to work even somewhat properly. If postage wasn't high I would have returned this.

My tripod did not come with an instruction manual. Want to know whether the same is available as pdf? Could you tell me how to remove the central column so that the low angle holder can be fixed. Also why does it have an allen key?

Asked by: Lightbeings
Hello- There is not a PDF version of the manual, you can call the Service Center at 800-875-3322 x120 and a manual can be sent to you. At the bottom of the center column, there is a plastic bottom that needs to be removed to them remove the center column. The allen wrench is to adjust the tension of the leg locks.

Hello I would like to know if that rotating center column can be tightened into position as its being rotated from the top to the bottom. Thanks.

Asked by: Mac25
Hello- We would not recommend it being used in that way,as the center column can not be tightened enough to prevent slipping.
