Recently while turkey hunting, I noticed that the cap sporting the vanguard logo on the front end of my spirit ED  between the two lens is missing. I'm wonder if that piece is necessary or not? I do not know if I have the warranty as they where a gift.

Hello Brogan95- The cap is not of vital importance, but if you would like to get a replacement you can call the Service Center at 800-875-3322 x120.
