Madelyn began shooting a bow when she was ten years old. Shortly after receiving her bow for Christmas, she shot her first 3D archery tournament and was hooked. She began shooting target archery with a local JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) team and has continued shooting with USA Archery. She competes mostly in ASA (Archery Shooter’s Association) 3D tournaments at the local, state, and national levels and continues to do very well. She also enjoys coaching younger archers, fishing, bowfishing, skeet shooting, and hunting with both rifle and bow.
